His personal journey includes working with post-genocide communities in Cambodia, experimenting with multidisciplinary methods in Morocco, and integrating the principles of ballroom and swing dance into leadership and followership. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Economics from Brandeis University and certifications from the International Coaching Federation and the M.I.T. Presencing Institute.
